Coffee, Tea, Soda stains?

There is one aspect of interior detailing that has frustrated me for years. After spending a great deal of time steam cleaning seats and carpeting to remove stains, and having it look great when damp, sometimes the coffee, tea, soda stains will wick back to the surface as the carpets and seats are drying making them look worse than when i started. I have dealt with this by waiting until everything is completely dry and surface cleaning the spots with a light foam cleaner and a dry towel. This works but I know the next time the vehicle comes in I will be dealing with it all over again!
Does anybody have a good solution for this problem?

Are you asking for some type of protector or a way to get them out faster??

In most cases you are only removing the surface stains and once they start to dry the stain that is embed in the material comes back to the surface...

You are using just a steamer to remove these stains?

A good hot water extractor is what I have used to get what you are describing out..or most of it...in some cases they are not all going to come out, don't beat yourself up over it...I rented a pro-level extractor this last summer and it really did the trick for me, along with some presoaking.

You can also use Oxy-clean mixed with warm water to soak and then a shop vac to lift the stains but this is still in allot of cases only attacking the surface stain and they can return once its dried.

Where I share in your frustration is with mats that have ebbed dirt no matter what you do they can look great wet, dry is another thing.
