I want to try some of these high end cora MF towels mostly just for paint removing wax(buffing) and QD duties so i am interested in the cobra indigo and artic white but dont see much of a diff just about two dollars in price anyone have exp. or opinions on these MF towels. Thanks

....after the horrible linting issues I experienced with a batch of the Shamrocks and 530's I purchased from them (and some useless, non-absorbent WW's I got on BOGO), I don't buy my towels from AG anymore. However, I still have a bunch of their teal general task towels and waffle-weaves that are quite old but are still great performers. I guess my last experiences with their "premium" selection, etc. simply soured my opinion of their line.

I use the indigo's for wax removal, no issues at all with linting. As far as the other cobra towels, I will never buy them again do to linting and some slight marring.

AG has a free 6-pack of their Cobra Jr 600 right now as part of a holiday promotion. I want to get them but after the terrible reviews...I think I may not.

@Dubbin1 Marring? I'm really surprised to hear that. Do you remember which specific Cobra MF it was? In a thread about MF's couple months ago you said Cobra was your favorite MF.

i would pass on these and would wait to see what other items will be offered for the promotion in the upcoming days...

I like the indigo and arctic whites; I prefer the white, mostly because I feel I can see contaminants on it better. I have also experienced linting with some of the thicker Cobra towels, but never any marring.

I too have had linting problems with the Cobra's. I now only use Pakshak towels. Their Ultra Plush is a medium weight towel and great for all around use.

I have a few (maybe 3) AG 530 towels. I have not had any issues with them. I was using them with ONR. I have not noticed any linting.

Exactly my thoughts. Indigos are great, all the others lint.

I'm also very disappointed with Cobra's. I bought one of the variety packs and am not to impressed. I still prefer my meguiar's towels for wax removal and drying and I use the Zaino Blonde's for detailing sprays. I have some cheapo mf's for glass and general usage.

I had linting problems with the original Zaino Blonde towels, even after washing them with MF detergent several times.

How old or new are yours?

They are fairly old. I bought them when first introduced. I haven't noticed much of a linting problem with any of my mf's except for the cobra glass cleaning mf's. Windows look really weird at night after using them. I have to follow up with a dry cheap mf to pick up all the dust that the towels leave behind. I think part of the problem here is that I wash all my mf's together regardless of usage. I used to use dye and perfume free tide but lately I've been using mf cleaner. Not noticed much difference. I haven't tried the new Zaino white towels. Have you ?

This summer I bought some Cobra JR, Cobra 530, Zaino Snow Whites, Pakshak White Ultra Soft and Pakshak WW Ultra Soft.

I found that the Z SW lint alot less than the Z B. The P WUS and the Z SW are very similar.

As far as linting in general goes I haven't tested my towels that thoroughly but I tend to agree with some posters on here that most MF's do lint.
