Cobra Deluxe Jr. Worth It?

I have been having problems with mine linting. At first they were great but after a few washes they started to lint.

while i haven't used the new ones, i had the older cobra jr's (the 530's as well) and they lint like no tomorrow. especially considering the price, i will no longer buy any microfiber towels from AG anymore...

These are the best!!! No lint what so ever and I have a Black truck. Super soft and thick; great for quick detailing and/or polish removal. The AG shamrocks are pure garbage and they no longer sell them.

LOL I have no problems with my shamrocks just the Jr's.

I've got and use both sizes, like em all. Some of my better towels. No problem with linting. Of the 6-8 brands of MF I have none lint.

It's funny how some people experience linting and some don't; must be a batch-to-batch variation or some other variable. I bought some of the Cobra Jr's when they first came out 3-4 or 5 years ago and they were fine, just they seemed to be identical to another towel I have (other than the color) that was half the price. So if you get it on BOGO you're good, lol.

Just ordered some combos 5 hours ago (16X16, 16X24). If I get a bad batch (linting, poor wiping, smearing) I am done with COBRA. Their Miracle Towel from years past has gone down hill slowly. China possible. Not as good in performance as years past.

Will let you know in a few days.

Bad batch? These aren't cookies you're talking about. Modern manufacturing processes ensure consistency. The towels are all the same. The different experiences are due to any of 100's of factors including how they are used, the detergent used to clean them, the washing machines and dryers, the settings on those appliances, how they are stored, and on and on and on.

every towel you get is not always going to be consistent with the same one you may have bought a few months ago etc, and having owned a grip of microfiber towels i've experienced it...

Received my MF order from AG last week (Cobra 600 jr, Cobra 600 sr, Cobra 530 Supreme, Ultima Autospa). Had a chance to use the first 3. Well... no linting, no scratching, soft towels. Used one 530 Supreme for drying my whole car and was impressed with its capacity to hold water, how easily 1 16X16 towel dryed my car, windows and all and how super soft it was when wet. Highly recommended and well-worth the $$$ even though the above 4 are on the higher end of expensive MF's.
