After reading all of this......I decided that I am going to get a bottle of NuFinish.. J/K
But first we need to have a discussion about which is better, the liquid or paste!!!!

Sorry, but "nothing sticks to OC" is NOT a false statement..
When I had 5 vehicles all wearing the old Opti-Guard, Wash Day in rainy WA., was the easiest it had ever been in years..
Very little to nothing stuck to the paintwork..
I even drove my personal Black Jeep 6K miles round trip and when I did the first 3K and stopped, my Black Jeep was not even dirty enough to wash it..
And driving through 5 mountain passes between Western WA through Oregon, and into the mountains at the border of Oregon and California, and all the way to San Antonio, Texas, I hit a lot of stuff..
I was not long ago in a very good, well respected Professional Detail company in Texas - the land of really bad weather...
These good men have been at the craft collectively perhaps longer than you have been on this earth..
They had at their disposal many Coatings for sale, and I saw a certain brand coating in the box from the UK there, gathering much dust...
I asked the Owners - "what's up with this coating box - is something wrong with it?
They said - "no nothing wrong with it, we just cant sell it.. No one wants it... They want the the other one...Opti-Coat...
We had all just met, they had not seen my Black Jeep and we had not discussed coatings, etc., at all..
And another thing - Thomas Dekany does NOT, repeat, does NOT need to pray for Wisdom from the Optimum gods, as he has GAINED much Wisdom from hard work and then more hard work to be at the level he is..
Have you ever taken a look at even some of the vehicles he has done ??? There can be no argument once you see his work...
And just so you know, I personally have never met Thomas Dekany, or talked to him on the phone or even PM'd him ever...
His work speaks volumes and its out there for anyone to see and critique...
Here is a thought, some of us waited years before we ever tried Optimum Coatings for a reason - to see if they had the legs to go long and do what they said it would...
Then we carefully experimented with it for awhile before we ever offered it to our Clients... Keyword - experiment - learn how best to use it, how best to apply it, how it reacts to different temps, humidity, getting a place as free from outside air to apply it so that nothing falls on it, etc...
We do not ride the wagon that has a new coating on it every year, ok ?
So, we may just may know a little about what we are talking about too...

So.. is there something I should know about New Finish? Now tell me they've come out with the Pro Version and I can't get it.After reading all of this......I decided that I am going to get a bottle of NuFinish.. J/K
Dan, it is indeed a false statement, but what I say and what you say is hearsay and is not proof by any means. I appreciate you sticking up for Thomas, but I never attacked his work, the constant praise of OCP gets old and is over the top, your work and products should speak for themselves, shouldn't need to tell people they aren't a professional, or act like you have access to some huge government secret because you can get some "pro" products.
Ok, so when I look at Client's vehicles and of course my own, and see how much LESS dirt is on there that before the Coating, had much more dirt, all things being equal, then I am seeing things that are not true ???
And when I can see that I dont have to wash my vehicles or their vehicles as much, because they stay cleaner, all things being equal, I am again seeing things???
And when I and they see less defects in the paintwork after a year or years, all things being equal, are we all imagining this ???
Seriously???
Surely, nothing has yet to be invented that is the true Invisible Shield - but for what I have seen in my garage Lab, and out in the real world, this product does work for what they said it does, again, all things being equal.. And it works for a long time...
If anyone found something that really worked great after years of working with it and of course factoring in nothing is ever "perfect", wouldnt he want to share this with others so that they can benefit from it???
None of us work for Optimum, ok ? None of us have a personal relationship with anyone at Optimum..
None of us have any "access to some huge government secret" - but what we do have is years, decades of hard work and experience in the Shop and at home in the garage..
20 cars ?? Yawn...I think the most I have done in 1 year working alone is 75..
Ok, I am out of here..
Good Luck -

Like you with DG, I cannot comment on viking or exo, since I have not used then, but I have heard very good things about exo v2 to be fair.
Wow, Thomas, that Subaru is beautiful !
Love the color..
Paint = perfect..

DG105 on my car looked better than any of the coatings I tried the last three years...and that includes over 10 commercial touchless washes last winter....for under $20
Actually I was being smart ......
But I agree, coatings should be a stand alone process unless someone WANTS to play.
If I recall correctly, cq was the starting of the main stream coatings, and it was "needs nothing", then it was, well if you want, use this (reload), then it was well use this.......
They say it's the once a year car polish, must be true if they say it on TV.
