Coastal Tool

I reckon a sticky should be made that outlines all the various items and costs involved to get started with the PC for UK Autopians.



Things like cost of machine + shipping + import duty + VAT etc. aswell as where to get the appropriate transformer from. Also, suggestions for what backing plates and pads are needed to get started for the first time.



I think all these questions are going to keep re-appearing as more and more of us Brits become Autopians. I can't resist the lure anymore - I've gotta get one! I know some sort of sticky with this info on would help me and alot of others to see what they exactly need to order from Autopia or Coastal etc.
 
Went with Coastal. Tried to find it all over SoCal, couldn't find it at any price.:rolleyes:

Emailed Coastal to ask how much shipping was to the UK 24hrs ago - still no reply... So I've got mine from the Autopia shop... and it's been despatched already! Excellent service!
 
After finishing my taxes last night, I ordered the 7424 kit from Coastal at about 11PM. At 7:30AM, there was already confirmation that my new significant other was being shipped today. We need more companies like this. Todd at Coastal Tool, nice job.
