Cloudy headlights

I had some time to kill today so I tried some PB SSR3 and then SSR2 on my wife's headlights.

I used the SSR3 first. It really removed most of the cloudiness.

Then I went over the head lights with SSR2. The SSR2 really smoothed out the plastic. Total time spent on the headlights was under half an hour by hand. I had previously use PI 2 RC by hand and it did nothing to the headlights.

Here is the other side. I didn't take any pictures of both headlights before I started working on them. I was amazed by how quickly the SSR's cleaned them up.

Shawn, nice work on the headlights. Your helper in pic 3 seems to be taking a break and listening to tunes.
 
andriver thanks. That is my youngest son. Also know as assistant #2, and he loves music. Right after I took this picture he went inside and got his blow up guitar and started playing the air guitar. Both of my boys love to help me work on our cars. As you can see he is a great help :)

In the last picture the headlight on the left has not been polished yet. I was really impressed by how little work it took to remove the cloudiness. I might get out the Cyclo tomorrow and finish it off with SSR1, the only thing is that if I get out the Cyclo I know that I will end up polishing the car.

Did you use a pc or did you apply ssr by hand? Also, does anyone know the difference between ssr2 and ssr2.5? After seeing these results and I am seriously contemplating ordering the ssr1-3 but I am not sure if I should get ssr2 or ssr2.5. Sorry, not trying to hijack your thread.
 
I think that the 2.5 is more agressive then 2.

I have never tried the toothpaste method.

After I did the Toyota I tried it on out Expedition and while it did make a differance it didn't make nearly as big of a differance as it did on the Toyota. Next time I polish our Expedition I will use the Cyclo to to work on the headlights.
