I never would have had time to detail while in college. I had several inquiries but I always had to turn them down because I was either busy studying, busy partying, or I didn't have my "stuff" with me. I did a few cars for friends, and did a few motorcycles for fellow riders, but I definitely didn't make a habit of trying to set aside a whole day to detail a few cars.
Most college kids could care less if their car is swirled. They sit outside 24/7 and are parked within inches of the car next to them as parking is always tight on campus, IME.
