Closing story is puzzling ?

It's so annoying when people try to be politically correct and say things like "no one owes us an explanation" because that's not true. When you're part of a community that has helped grow and support this site and business how can you say an explanation isn't owed to the people that been a large part of the reason the business was around?? I have no issue with nothing be said yet because there's obviously larger issues they are having to deal with right now other than telling us what happened but again, to say the people that have spent their hard earned money shopping with PAC and sharing on the site on a daily basis aren't owed an explanation is just kind of ridiculous.
 
I do not feel like I am owed an explaination . Im not just saying that to be politically correct.:smile:its just how I truely feel.

For the people that feel they are owed an explaination Angelo has already said to be patient and Jack will speak and explain why in time.

So you being here was a one way relationship? Sorry I just don't understand this mentality. You spend your time here, you spend some of your money here, you share your experiences and are part of a group of people that contributed towards this being a place others wanted to be and suddenly it's all going to vanish and you don't think your owed an explanation?? Again, that's just strange.

I don't know if anybody is right or wrong in this situation. What's strange to you might be normal to me and vice-a-versa, and that's fine because we are different people with the different experiences.

I used to go to a local Borders a lot (I love to read). They went out of business, never once did I feel like they needed to open their books to me and explain to me why they went out of business. Same with the a local Best Buy, same with UNO's Chicago Pizzeria, same with a Hess gas station, and so on and so on.

But I have never been the type of person who feels that anybody owes me anything in life (expect my parents who had the responsiblity to raise me until I was 18, which is something they choose when they made me). Again my view points aren't right or wrong, they are simply mine.

Greetings all,

I bring you this news with a heavy heart

I'm very sorry to inform you that PAC will be closing its doors at the end of this month. As many of you know the past 3 years have been crushing on many small businesses across our great country. Unfortunately, PAC has also falling victim

I apologize to anyone who may be inconvienced by the closing of TID. Without having a store, its just simply not economically viable for me to continue. I too have grown to love you all like family (except 4 Flash) and it saddens me deeply that it has had to come to this

My thanks goes out to everyone who has followed my company and supported it throughout the years, the business may be gone, but the memories will last me a lifetime

Members coming to TID and sharing did so on their own volition. I never once contributed with the notion that I was ever ?owed? anything. I find the thought that any member feels they are ?owed? anything other than a respectful environment where they can come and share their experience strange.

I find it very puzzling that when others are going through a potentially catastrophic event in their lives some feel that they are entitled to an explanation

No it wasnt a one way relationship but I feel PAC/TID gave me way more than I gave and I will always be indepted to them.Seriously if Any PAC guys ever need a favor from me just ask!

I think its strange you feel your owed something but like Todd said we are just different people with different feelings so I will accept your feelings and try not to judge you even though I dont understand it and hope you can do the same.
