It has been a very long time tine I have posted here on Autopia - Hello to all !!!

I have a new to me 2012 BMW 750ix with Space Gray paint.  I have been using Werkstat Prime with Acrylic Jett Trigger.  The website states that Acrylic Jett Trigger is "sold out"

I love the ease of use of these products, and it looks great on my Bimmer (pics to come)

What else out there is comparable to Acrylic Jett Trigger?

Any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks, in advance,

Perfection lies in the details!

Wow I haven't used that stuff in years, I remember it was a nice product. Have you tried Reload yet? I found that when the car is still wet after a wash, if you spray Reload on the first drying towel and work the product in, take your second towel and "buff" it off, it woks amazing and will give the paint a nice glow.

Hi Scott,

How is the appearance compared to Jett?  How do you apply it?  Can I apply it on top of Prime?

Thanks!

I use it over everything. Actually every time I wash with ONR I use it. So far it plays well with anything,

Dogma,

Could this be a true LSP like Acrylic Jett Trigger?  Is this "Carnuba" muted shine or a brighter acrylic shine like Klasse?

Deeper and wetter looking (very carnauba like appearance) than AJ. Application is simple, wipe on. Clears out on its own. Plays well with other products.

How long does it last?

I'm getting 6-8 months on vehicles here in north Texas.

Does it play well with glazes from poorboys?

It should as long as you wipe the vehicle down completely, with something really oily like 3M Ultrafina, you'd need to wash it before applying any sealant.

Protects very well against bird bombs. Been using Opti-Seal on 95% of the non-coating details I do over the last few years, can't recall a single repeat customer's car being etched from a bird bomb even though I've found bird poop on their cars.

So - Opti-Seal is ok on top of Werkstat Prime?

After polishing with any correcting polish, what should I do before applying Opti-Seal?

Many Thanks !!!

Depends on what polish, if optimum it would be ok to go right to opti seal, if another brand never a bad idea do use a panel cleaning product like gtechniq panel wipe, carpro eraser, IPA, DG squeaky clean, etc. or at least a onr wash or the like, or you may get issues from oils/fillers used in many polishes.

The two polishes I'd definitely wash, use IPA on, etc before applying Opti-Seal is 3M Ultrafina and Meguiars #205. Other than those two, I haven't had any issues going straight to Opti-Seal.
