ClearKote QS or FK #425?? That is my question. I want to add QuickSHine to my arsenal. Is it worth it? I already own a gazillion other similar products. But I am a sucker for the UPS lady. :grinno:

Cool. I already own 425 but I am wondering about the "No Fingerprint' Claim on QuickShine. Can anyone validate this?

I <3 Quikshine.

No fingerprints? To a certain extent. Not 100% though. QS has a very wet looking shine, seems to cut down on dust accumulation. I haven't used 425 so I can't comment on it.

I don't know about the "no fingerprint" thing, but QS is a very nice QD, I only wish it had a scent, well at least one that would be detectable.

I will trade a NEW 32oz Quickshine for

32oz of FK-425 if anyone is intrested, I will

even toss in a Turtle wax leather Conditioner

FREE!!!! both items BRAND NEW !!

You really can't go wrong with either product. I have both products & like them very much. But when it comes down to it........FK #425 is just an amzing product. Go with the #425!

I find 425 can go on after just about anything without a streaking mess. Is QS the same way or is it fairly specific to be used after Moose Wax?

Im your huckleberry. I will take this trade, I love QS, just not the price of it. PM and we will work out the details. Do you any Megs #21?

I like QS becuase it works like Rain-X on the glass when it rains. I never get any streaking no matter how hot or cold it is outside. And it makes the paint nice and smooth...

I got some #425 when I odered my Pink Wax a long time ago, but never used it...

QS is great as you can use it as a polish enhancer in between each buffing step to increase the gloss, to clean windows and on wheels

425 is nice but I found a few other QD's that match it's slickness

Doesn't it disturb the fine wax/poly/UV-blocker composition of OCW?

It very well could - I mainly use this combo just to make sure I dont get any waterspots and give it a wet look. I usually apply a coat of Pink wax every other week so Im not using it mixed to add protection really

Hmm... I'm gonna have to go against the grain and say QS. #425 doesn't wipe cleanly for me no matter WHAT I try, but I seem to be the only one. QS has never given me any fuss, over any LSP and it works great on everything on the car. It also seems to darken the paint on my dark blue metallic GTO.

I'm not giving up on 425 just yet, but so far, it hasn't become my favorite like it has with many on here.
