I received the following as a gift. can anyone give me some feedback on it? whether to keep it or ....

CK Quickshine (this one's a keeper)

CK Yellow Moose Cream Wax

CK Moose Compound

thanks...

Quikshine is an outstanding QD. I alternate using Quikshine with FK#425. ( my 2 favorite QD's) Adds a nice gloss & darkens my black paint a bit. Super easy to use. I use it post wash to add a little "bling" & remove water spots. As for the other 2 products you mentioned.......I haven't used them. I do, however, use RMG,VM & CMW & love those products! Give them a try. You'll be pleased!

The Compound is pretty good, maybe a touch more aggressive via PC than Meguiars DACP or Optimum Compound. The Yellow wax is a final glaze like RMG. Very wet, very slick, it has about the same level of protection as Vanilla Moose, 4-6 weeks or so, so top it with a carnauba.

How would you rate the Clearkote Compound in relation to OHC? Also, would you say that DACP has more oils/fillers than the ClearKote Compound?

Thanks Scott.

Comparable to the old OHC, not quite as aggressive as the new version. CK seems to be very low oil/filler, what you see is what you get. However, I don't find DACP to be particularly oily either and it corrects rather than fills.

i havent used any of the products you listed, but for what its worth, im a big Clearkote fan. I really like their Vanilla Moose hand glaze and Carnauba moose wax. VM is one of the easiest products ive ever used, and produces really nice results (durability isnt the greatest), and CMW is another really easy-to-use product that produces nice results....it wouldnt be my first choice for a carnauba, but off the top of my head, itd be my first choice for a liquid carnauba (although i havent tried too many liquids, so my experience is limited there)
