Clearkote Info

I also spoke to Mr E about his products, but I was kinda leary of the whole

buffing with RMG while the car was wet, so I never did it. Maybe I should just

buy some RMG and give it a try :nixweiss

As for CMW and VM, I use them infrequently now, as I dont really get decent

cars that need a lil TLC; most are pretty rough and require a bit more than

a glaze. When i do use them though, I find they make dark finishes very deep

and rich looking. And, it does not hurt that CMW has some decent durability;

maybe not as long as IW, but it does last a good while.

Just confirm, you dont need to dry before applying RMG??

What if you have the 50/50 mix!?

I got my Ck gear at SpecialityMotoring.

Thanks

Thanks. 20% is nice savings. Have you or anyone else here ever dealt with them?

yes, and patrick (a.k.a. patrick) is AWESOME! you won't find better customer service anywhere, and don't hesitate to do an order with him... :2thumbs:

It seems like a lot of places aren't carrying or closing out on ClearKote products. I know Autogeek.net no longer carries ClearKote and Brilexsoltions.com and Obsessivedetail.com are closing out on ClearKote. Why is this? It doesn't seem like CK is as popular as it used to be?

For some reason nobody wants to believe Everett when he tells them to use RMG for paint correction. It is really to bad. The product is capable of doing more than most people think. :werd:

Problem is it does make swirls appear to be gone but it just fills them, not eliminates them, they will come back.

I use RMG all the time as a last step after swirl removal for an extra wet look, and if the car is going to a car show I would not top it with anything because I have yet to find a product that does not mute the RMG look.

Probably everyone is ordering it from Patrick @ excel! :LOLOL

Clearkote helped me out for a few years but now I don't seem to need it anymore

I'll probably get some VM to deoxidise surfaces but not on paint anymore.

Yellow moose is a nightmare to use if you don't like holograms

This is what is what makes detailing interesting. I have always had good luck with Yellow Moose and thought it was very easy to use. But that is what makes the world go around, if everything was the same for everyone, the world would be way to boring.

I would also like some more information about using RMG while the car is still wet? That would be a huge time savings...
