I've got quite a bit of hazing (not sure how it was caused) on a gauge cluster. I'm not sure what the previous owner did to cause this but i'm wondering if it's fixable? Can anyone recommend any products that would solve this problem? here's some pics of the clear plastic from the gauge cluster...

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Try in this order:

Meguiars Plastx w/microfiber.

Mild polish (sonus sfx2, mezerna FPII, or equivalent)

Wetsand with 2500 grit or higher paper, then revert to mild polish.

Hope you can find something that works.

If you can find it, try this. It worked wonders for my guage cluster. They also have a dedicated clear plastic polish which has a bit stronger abrasives in it.

In addition to Meguiars, Novus makes a series, numbers 1, 2, and 3 that are good to have around. Number 3 is the most aggressive and 1 is a spray cleaner. The other thing you might all ready have is Blue Magic Metal Polish, it and Flitz can be used on plastic safely. Plastic is listed in the directions for use.

the white dots are still there but much of the hazing has dissapeared. it's not perfect but i think i can live with it because it's barely noticeable once the cluster is re-mounted back into the car. what do you think guys?
