clear plastic: 303 vs PlastX or Plastic Polish

Did anyone compare 303 Protectant with Meguiars PlastX or Mothers Plastic Polish on clear plastic?

303 will not remove defects. Mothers and Megs will. I know 303 recommends Aerospace protectant for head lights, tail lights, and clear plastic but I prefer Megs Plastx for defect removal and Plexus for regular cleaning.

PlastiX is the best that I have used on plastic. You will not be dissapoinetd.

I got thrown for a loop when i read the first two posts.. I did some looking on the 303 website and it turns out that you can apply the protectant onto clear plastics and windshields! I'm dumbfounded that i never knew of this application!

303 is as bad on clear plastic as it is fantastic on matte plastic. It streaks and doesn't really fill the scratches properly.



It's well worth finding a can of Plexus for clear plastic, it will even fix skipping DVD's!

I'll take your word for the clear plastic application.



I've used plexus for my dvd's as well. If that still doesn't work, then vanilla moose has about a 60% chance of saving the disc.



I never noticed you were from northern california.. Where in northern california are you located? I'm in daly city, by san francisco.
