Some of the clear coat on the wheels can be really quite hard and require a lot of polishing to remove the easy stuff. Keep your speed low and be patient and you should be able to get the majority of them.

I have never taken mil gauge readings on wheels, for some reason it never occurred to me. Anybody have any idea what the average thickness is?
