I bought a new 03 Ford Superduty afew months ago and have been wanting to get a clear bra for it. I also want to get some "bulk" clear bra material to do my fender lips and maybe the outside edge of the fenderwell.

What is the best place to get the bra and "bulk" pieces from (warranty, etc.)??

Also...I will be using Zaino on the truck (just ordered)....so what prep work should I do before putting the bra on??

THANKS FOR THE HELP!!!

I have had the 3M clear bra on my motorhome for the last four years. This is the greatest stone chip protector I have ever seen. Unfortunately, the look of the product degrades over time. Before you buy one for your car, go to the used car lots and look at some clear bras that are four or five years old. Last week I finally decided to do something about the scratchy, cloudy finish. After six hours with my PC the thing looks pretty good again. As to which product to buy, I think you will find that they are all made by 3M. The key is to find a good installer with a pattern that was computer cut for your vehicle.

All the material is made by 3M and is called ScotchCal I think. The main difference between the various brands offered is the area covered. Some are cheaper than others for a reason. The discoloration shows up on light colored cars. I've had it on my Imola Red now for 5 years and you still can't see it from more than 5 feet away. I am not sure how easy it is to remove, but I had the installer remove some of mine once and he was quite relieved to get it off without removing any paint. Not sure if this was just salesmanship on his part or real concern.

Bottom line: get it:)
