Hey does anyone know a good way to clean microfiber pads? I use a 5 inch microfiber pad when detailing and need some advise on how to clean all the old wax and crude off of them? Any Ideas? Ive been using the washing machine with very little detergent

I don't boil them, I saturate them with a 50/50 mix of Purple-Power and water, let them soak for 20 minutes or so, then throw them in a sink of hot water... scrub with a carpet brush... rinse and let air dry.

Similar procedure for MF towels, except after I soak them with Purp-Pwr, I throw them in the washer.

Purp-Power... great grease/stain/wax cutter.

try Dawn Power Disolver also. It's in a blue spray bottle. Wet your pad with warm water, spray some Dawn PD on it. Let it soak for 15 minutes. Rinse it off good and throw it in the washer. Do a 2nd rinse cycle then let it air dry.

not just Dawn dish soap. It's a special Dawn with a spray bottle. The stuff is pretty harsh. Let it soak long enough and your MF pad might turn into ashes...LOL ok not that strong but it's strong.
