Just like Dan I use micro-restore on my MF's with a double rinse, then either hang dry or put them in the dryer on âہ“gentle/lowâ€Â heat (do not use a fabric softener sheet). If you remove them from the dryer before they are completely dry they wonâ€â„¢t have as much static cling.
For dirtier MF's I pre-wash/rinse in a bucket or sink with Dawn. I wash any grungy MF's separately from my good ones.
For my sheepskin wash mitt I just wash it with the car wash Iâ€â„¢m using, rinse well, wring out and hang dry.
For my pads I soak in a bucket of Dawn for a while, work the product out with my hands, soak again if needed in a fresh solution of dawn, rinse well, and then dry. To dry I put them on a rotary and give them a spin in a bucket (to prevent water from flying everywhere), then place them on a clean towel face down on a wire rack to finish air drying. You could also just squeeze as much water out as possible by pressing them down flat on a clean towel and then air dry as above. When dry I put them in a Ziplok bag to keep clean and dust free.
