hey guys,

Is there a How to on cleaning your wash mitts, bonnets, and towels? Please let me know. Thanks!

Edwin

For my washing stuff like sponges, brushes, etc. I just rinse them out with water, and for the stuff like sponges I try to squeeze out all the detergent until I only see water that I'm squeezing out. Then let them air dry. For the other stuff, I put them in the washer machine with a mild detergent and no fabric softener, and then dry them in the drying machine without any fabric softener sheets or whatnot. I guess you could always hang them and air dry them that way.

I use Micro Restore for all of my MF stuff and wash them in the washing machine using the "Gentle" cycle. I clean my pads in "Snappy" - an LC pad cleaner - in a wash bucket by hand. Let soak for several hours, rub the surface with my thumbs, and then rinse.

Regards,

Dan.

Just like Dan I use micro-restore on my MF's with a double rinse, then either hang dry or put them in the dryer on âہ“gentle/lowâ€Â heat (do not use a fabric softener sheet). If you remove them from the dryer before they are completely dry they wonâ€â„¢t have as much static cling.

For dirtier MF's I pre-wash/rinse in a bucket or sink with Dawn. I wash any grungy MF's separately from my good ones.

For my sheepskin wash mitt I just wash it with the car wash Iâ€â„¢m using, rinse well, wring out and hang dry.

For my pads I soak in a bucket of Dawn for a while, work the product out with my hands, soak again if needed in a fresh solution of dawn, rinse well, and then dry. To dry I put them on a rotary and give them a spin in a bucket (to prevent water from flying everywhere), then place them on a clean towel face down on a wire rack to finish air drying. You could also just squeeze as much water out as possible by pressing them down flat on a clean towel and then air dry as above. When dry I put them in a Ziplok bag to keep clean and dust free.
