cleaning window water spots?

you guys said that klasse aio works on windows; so, has anyone tried prime strong on their windows? i got a 07 camry se and there is some residue like another guy had. i tried stoner's glass but it didn't cut through on the back and the front windows.

I have to agree with newagain here. I Had horrible 3 year stained windows from the previous owner of my vehicle. After hearing about the options I decided to try something cheap and readily available, like spot X. Went to home depot spent 7 dollars on some spot X and the scruber they have. Took a bit of work but my windows are clean now. The stuff is powder and you mix it with some water on your pad and scrub your windows. Really a very easy process. Just don't try it in the sun. Works best on cool windows so that the water doesn't evaporate.

I imagine there are other things that work but they are not as cheap or easy to get locally.

Zaino Glass Polish by hand via a terry applicator.

My mothers car sat outside everyday and night and every morning the sprinklers would come on showering her car for over a year straight. the car was washed when it rained and the windows were the worst thing i had ever seen. drying the car made me sick going over the windows cause i could feel all of the spots. i used Z12 the glass polish, after trying the steel wool, vinegar, and all the other crap and the zaino applied by hand got rid of every single spot. i was absolutely amazed. i then put a glaze by auto magic called "seal it"(#70) and the windows have been spotless and repel water. i used it on my minitruck where i dont have windshield wipers and the water just falls off when im driving. IMO get zaino.

well, its been a long time since i commented on this thread, becuase i had given up for years. I tried bar keepers friend today and it seemed to remove the marks but I had to rub very hard and i did start to see some swirl scratches in the light. so i wont be doing that anymore.
