cleaning wheels(and protecting),calipers and rotors

I have a 2010 Chrysler T and C with silver factory wheels.I was wondering if and how and what you do about the calipers,can i spray brake cleaner though the wheel? If so would it hurt the wheel? I got some stuff called Michelin wheel protector step 3 i think. Has anyone used this? or would i be better off waxing the wheel and if so what otc thanks
 
what i do is take the wheel off clean it inside and out then use poorboys wheel sealent on it it will last a good while and you'll not have to use anything but car soap and water to clean them..

as for calipers there are covers you can get for them to make them smooth and easier to clean
 
What kind of finish do the brake calipers have? I am assuming it is a zinc coated pebble like machined finish? I wouldn't use brake cleaner (I don't know enough about them). You can use a wheel cleaner and a brush to agitate the solution on the brake caliper.
