Cleaning the LCD on my Nav.

I used Plexus on my laptop screen today, hoping it wouldn't do anything bad... turned out great!

So I would assume Plexus should work for Nav. screens, etc.

I have used this stuff, Opti-Max, with great success cleaning the NAV LCD on my car and laptops:

It appears to be a "low strength" and very gentle optical cleaner. It doesn't do a good job on eyeglasses, for instance (despite what it claims), and it's definitely much gentler than Plexus and the Novus and Meg's plastic "detailer" stuff.

Basically, I bought a little bottle of Opti-Max, and since I only use it for LCD's, it's going to last a loonnngg time.

Sorry for the OT, Is plexus safe for my dell LCD? What about the screen on my DLP TV? I have some but just don't want to mess anything up.

Here is the reply I got back from Plexus on its use for my Dell LCD and DLP TV:

Thank you for your interest in Plexus. Plexus is a perfect cleaner and protectant for both applications. The screen on the both surfaces will benefit from Plexus.

Micrfibers cloths can be used, but I would suggest more of a cotton product. What I found best is a nice soft terry cloth. The Terry cloth seems to be a bit more absorbent. So when you are wiping the surface down after you spay Plexus on it. The terry cloth picks up the excess Plexus quicker and a bit more efficient in the wipe down process.

Again both cloths are just fine for wipe down just never use paper towels or any pulp product as a cloth for wipe down.

Thank you again and please let me know if you have any other questions.
