First off thanks to all the posters for sharing thier knowledge with all of us rookies. I've never learned so much about care care since I joined this forum a couple years ago.
With that allow me to pass on a great tip I got off HGTV a few years ago.
Since the Inks have changed in newprint it's too damn messy to use for glass but the suitable replacement is coffee filters.
Not the cone filters just the plain old cheap round ones.
You can buy 500 packs of these things dirt cheap at discount stores. Crumble 3 or 4 of them together and you've got the cleaning ability of newspaper, no ink smudges and no lint.

Stoner IG and coffee filters seems to be the ulitimate in glass cleaning for me.
Try it you'll like it.
Very inexpensive too.

And again thanks to everyone for sharing all the knowledge.

Used these when I was a kid. I never could get to them absorb enough.

The PB's velvet smooth are awesome for glass!

Interestin ! Coffee filters you say , I never heard of that one. Maybe I'll give it a try one of these days.:bigups

BTW where you been for a year this is your first post and you been registered since last year. You been holdin out with the tips for us haven't ya ;) Glad to see your finally posting :bigups . I look forward to hearin more tips ya .

Sorry I haven't posted before.
Been spending more time learning than sharing.
I'm just finishing a major detailing project on my 95' Infiniti J30 and will share my results soon.
I've been using the Poorboys products and I am very satisfied.

As for coffee filters and glass: If they aren't absorbant enough you aren't using enough. Lightly crumble 5 or 6 together.
I have no problems with that at all and I just haven't found anything that works as well including MF towels.
When crumbled up they just seem to get into those hard to reach corners better.

I have purchased a PC and also purchased a rotary too.
I have found I really needed both.
I'll share my results soon.

caffeine addict is here, dont touch my coffee filters, go git you a clean terry cloth towel and get to work.
