cleaning chrome exhaust tips

what type/grade of steel wool should i use to clean my chrome exhaust tips ? wheres the best place to get it, i tried autozone but the grade looked too aggressive

i found triple zero at walmart, in the home painting section-i used it wet with some diablo wheel gel to clean the inside of some mercedes rims and it worked amazing!!!

#0000 at Wal-Mart. I use mother's chrome polish mixed with it, works pretty well.

just got some 0000 from home cheapo

should work like a champ . . . . . . i use it a lot on stubborn things especially polishing tail pipes that have never seen a dab of polish in their life time.

I used #0000 at Wal-Mart, the mother's chrome polish for my dual exhaust tips. And yeah it was good enough. I will not use any other polish.
