Cleaning Carpet....

I just used some Woolite Heavy Traffic Carpet Cleaner and a sturdy brush to clean my interior carpet. The product works great and the smell is decent also. I used to pay someone to do it for me once a year but I enjoy working on the detailing myself. It's actually therapy for me.

I'm really glad this Forum is the way it is. I would have never thought about using the product without first finding the recommendation here first.

Prestone also makes a really good carpet cleaner. I've had tons of success with it over the last few years. :xyxthumbs

Many pro detailers use Woolite because it is widely available and it won't damage the items its cleaning. The last thing a pro wants is to use some harsh cleaner that fades carpet or cloth seats and too many products do that in the name of fast cleaning action. Woolite is a very safe product.

I’ve been using Woolite on the cloth/leather seats and trim but clean carpets/mats with Meguiar’s All Purpose Cleaner Plus mixed at 10:1 and have not had any problem with fading. I really like both products.
