Cleaning all the dust

yes either micro fiber towel or a california duster but ive been having problems with mine...it leaves very very small scratches when u even just lightly put it across your car...i dont know if theres somthing stuck in it. ive tried shakin it out but with no luck...so probally go with just a mf which is ur best bet.
 
If i have some dusting left over I usaully use a MF and some Poorboy's World Spray and Wipe.
 
I usually just wipe down with a MF. If I have had to do a lot of correction with heavy compounds and the rotary many times I will hose down the car and wash it with soap and water.
 
I use the CA duster but there seems to be some here that have problems with small scratches (not me ) However I also use S&W with a MF that does the same just a bit more work.
 
If I have heavy dusting from multiple polishings, I go ahead and wash the car before the final light polishing and wax/sealant. I go a little heavy on the soap for the added lubrication. The loss of oils from the heavy soap use is replaced by the final light polishing (which leaves no dust being a Megs pure polish). Follow this with the sealant, and a wipe down of the exterior trim with a protectant, and I'm done.
 
Ok thx guys...what about leaf blower?? but Im thinking it might blow particals thus marring it. Anyone try this?? Thx again.. :) Don you get my pm??
 
I dont think that using a leaf blower on a dusty car is a particularly good idea. I think you are much safer with a MF towel and a QD.
 
I find that static electricity is often created, particulary with sealants and low/dry hunidity. I have success using jumper cables to ground the chassis . Simply attach cables to the frame and a cold water pipe.

Won't eliminate dust, but it does minimize it!
