One of the most appealing factors about drifting, is that it is one of, if not the only motorsport, short of drag racing, where a beat to hell 30 year old beater can hand a Viper it's a$$. The Matte finish is a trend in the sport, as it adds to the minimalist idea. I've seen guys enter primered cars in shows with stickers on the windshield that say "I like mine with no shine". I also knew a kid that any time he had some mishap while drifting, he'd note it on the car. Say there's a dent in the rear quarter, he'd take a sharpie, and right such n such race track turn 3, tandum run, and the date.
In Teck's defense he did say he "cleaned up the Z"....it's just a matter of preference.
Lots of motorsports set up negative camber to improve handling characteristics, and drifting is one of them, although I'd say in this case it probably has more to do with the weight distribution over the rear wheels with the spacers.
Sorry to be so bold, bein such a newb to the forum, but this is the closest thing to flaming that I've seen since I've been a member, and I just hope we aren't goin down that road. :yikes:
