cleaned seat belts. Results.....

the results were suoerb..i simply used a cup of simple green and hot water in a bucket and let the seatbelt soaked in it..after scrubbing in between it was results were like new..
i could tell because the water in the bucket was soo damn dity..
yall should try it too..:rockon
 
I should probably clean my seat belts. 20 years old and probably never cleaned. Was it difficult to remove the belt from the reel?

well i didnt remove any bolts i just stretched the seatbelt on to a bucket and used clip to hold the top end of the stretched belt..
some thing like this :

How long did it soak?

hmm like 30 mins with Simple Green and hot water and then scrubbing followed by another approx 20mins of just hot water. Also in the bucket i put like @least 2 cups of Simple Green and hot water..i found the more concentrate the Simple Green the better..but i think 2 cups should be good..
 
ooo sorry ..for the front seatbelts i used 2 since they were very dirty..but for the rear ones i used 1 cup..
but if they are really really dirty then just use 2 instead
