clean old wax out of rubber seals?

i just got done with detailing the car on saturday...back and arms are sore. :sigh: car looks great nonetheless...



however, when i take a close look at the rubber/vinyl seals betwen the window and the paint, i can't help but notice a lot of "old" wax hiding under the trim.



anyone know of a great method of cleaning the residue out from under the trip safely? i'm not sure if i'm wording my question clearly...

I use a QD and one of those soft bristle pen type detail brushes.

I use QD and a foam brush! You get the idea! QD and brush!

I'd go along with the detail brush but allied with a rubber cleaner (3M Rubber Cleaner) QD usually contain wax + water, then I use a talc powder to lubricate the rubber

Meg's #40 for this application paired with either a Q-Tip or the detail brush.
