Clean and polished -- Now what?

Less

So I've been working on detailing my black G35 this week. I managed to get 95% of the defects out using a combo of Menzerna Intensive Polish and an orange pad followed by 106ff with a white pad. The paint is super glossy, and smooth.

My question is what is next?

I plan to use souveran as my LSP. I want to put something else on first that will provide some better protection and hopefully fill in some of the remaining faint scratches. here is what I have

Klass AIO

Klass Sealant/Glaze

Mothers Sealer/Glaze

XMT 360

XMT Finishing Glaze w/Carnauba

Collinite 845

Megs NXT

Mothers Step 3 Paste wax

Meguairs #7 Glaze

I tried using Klasse SG, but it was impossible to buff off. I tried it by machine and by hand. I tried to apply it as thin as possible. I just couldn't figure out how to get it right. Megs #7 was no picnic either.

I've never used the XMT's or the Mother's, out of that bunch I'd go for the 845. If you can figure out the KSG, that would be the way to go. You have to put basically nothing on, so thin it just flashes and disappears.

NXT is a breeze to use and would probably cover up the 5% of the marring that you were unable to remove with it's fillers. Although, I have only used the K twins, NXT, and Mothers out of what you've listed. I've been a fan of Klasse myself.

i use klasse out of those you listed and Im really happy with the result. u just need to apply them thin or else it will be hard to remove. but of course u can use a qd for that. my second choice in your list would be collinite 845. i've read such a good review or experience using these product in this forum.
