Claying with PC??

Has anyone tried claying with a PC by using one of those clay attachments? It looks like a neat idea, but also a dangerous one. If you have used one, does it actually owrk well without harming the paint?

i have read people saying that the clay tends to fall out if your not carefull around contours. it seems like claying by hand would be more efficient because it would be more easier to control, and by hand you can tell when you need to move on to a different area.

Yeah that is what i was thinking. It is a neat idea, but i didnt think it would work well. Thanks for the imput.

Claying is such a simple, quick and easy process by hand I don't see a need to try another method. It is not like trying to rub out swirls by hand while your PC sits there collecting dust. Sometimes I get so caught up in looking for a better way that I miss the obvious.

Yeah thats what i was thinking. Any peice of dirt wiht that much force and speed running across your paint seems dangerous to me, but i didnt knwo if it actually worked well. I thought i woudl ask around and see. I prefer it by hand on my car anyway because im too much of a perfectionist and ahve to get every little spot! Im sure others can relate to that.
:) :jump

It does sound like a good idea, but the thing about claying a vehicle is that you must go by feel

This would be hard if you were doing it with a PC? :dunno

I'll stick with the traditional way.
