Claying and rain

I clayed my truck this morning in preparation to polish/wax & seal immediately . Unfortunatly, it's raining right now so I can't finish. My question is: How long can I go without polish/wax/seal?

I have a birthday cookout (mine) to attend (30 Mi. away) but I don't want to drive the truck the way it is now. Hell of a way to start one's birthday

If you have a spray wax just use that real quick when you get back just polish and seal like you normally would. IMO.
