Clay/Zaino over bodyside tape?

I'm planning on doing my first claying and Zaino application tomorrow on my new Mustang which has the white bodyside tape (see pic in my other, overly-wordy thread: http://autopia.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=55502). Has anyone detailed a car with tape before?? I imagine I can apply the sealant (Zaino polishes Z5 and Z2) over top to provide a layer of protection to the tape, but can I (and/or should I) clay it as well?? If I shouldn't clay it, should I attempt to clay the paint surfaces in between the tape? :nixweiss

Just a follow-up... Applying and wiping off Zaino was a huge pain with the Mustang logo tape... the MF kept grabbing the the edges of the tape and lifting it up (and even snapping off a very small part of a letter). Guess I made a mistake getting the tape as it's reallllly going to slow me down when applying any sealant/wax. Are there any tricks out there or should I even consider possibly removing the tape which I really do like?

I'm not a fan of the tape. I would remove it, but that's just me. I don't think it adds anything to the car.

The tape shouldn't be that easy to remove. I have stickers on my truck and I do use Z2 pro over them, but I don't clay them. Its a good idea to at least put Z2 over them for protection between the letters and give it that shine.
