I've been searching for days and haven't really found a definitive answer.... should I or should I no clay bar my 3M clear bra during my detail? I'd pretty banged up looking with bug guts and things. Some people have said they've even scratch the clear bra somehow with the clay.

I don't have one, but I know folks that do...one clays, the others don't. I can't imagine what would get trapped in the film, so I'm not sure it'd be worth the effort. I wouldn't think the film could be scratched unless there's an issue with technique.

I have a clear bra on one of our cars and clay it all the time. I’ve never seen anything but positive results.
