Clay bar lubricant

I suspect that it would not be effective as a clay lube. It likely would be too slick and the wax would probably impair the effectiveness of the clay.



Are you having an issue with your QD breaking down your clay? Which QD and clay are you using?

I use ONR at clay lube strength (whatever the bottle says - 2oz per 1 gallon of water I believe)



I used to use megs last touch.



ONR is much cheaper and last touch leaves behind a lot of glossing agents (like you'd expect from a QD)



I saw a thread recently where some were rating ONR very poor for a clay lube (as far as slickness). Personally I like it and will continue to use it
