Did this all by hand....swirls? GONE. Here's what I did....



Washed with Z7 car wash, clayed the car for about 2 hours to make sure I got everything (Z18 claybar, Z7/water as lube). Went over the whole car with 1Z PP.....that took awhile. Had some swirls on some spots, went over them with 3M SMR. I really worked it in for awhile, buffed it off, then went over the whole car with a 50/50 water/rubbing alcohol mixture. The next day I washed with Z7 just to make sure all of the oils were off the paint, then did 3 coats of Z5/ZFX. I left the last coat on overnight and just buffed it off this morning.

VERY reflective :cool: I just got back after a weeks vacation in Florida. I love it, but I don't know how you detail cars in that humidity.
 
Yeah, it's a real b*tch...I usually leave the garage door open, the side door open, and the fan on and it's not so bad, but still sucks. Winter is perfect :)

wow car looks awesome! Your one lucky kid to have that at age 16. I was looking at your cardomain page and just sat there wondering how you manage to pay for all your mods? Im in the same siuation at age 16 always wanting mods but really never have the money to do them. Anyways great car and great detail:bow
 
Thanks guys.....I used to have a job about 2 years ago and just saved my money for when I got a car. Trying to get a job again, then all hell breaks loose :D
