Never thought about how small 4" pads really are. Seems like it would take awhile to do a full-polish on even a small(er) car like your own!

4" pads are usually used for spot polishing, not entire vehicles.

I concour - I'd never tackle a whole car with anything less than a 6.5" pad, and to be honest lately I've fallen for the 7.5" advanced pads from Lake Country. I used a lot of SSR2.5 as I knew I would be working it for a while - the 4" pads generate a lot of heat on speed 6 on the PC, so being generous with the product helps to prevent dry buffing.
