Chrome Wheels.....Mother's PowerBall?

Anyone ever try "Simple Green" on wheels?

I have heard it works good.....

A lot of people use Simple Green on wheels.

A guy here used it for ages on his Jetta, but realized that it had gradually messed them up, to the point that they needed to be refinished. That was enough to scare me off the idea, but other people dismiss the risk and use the stuff anyhow.

..and Simple Green has a bunch of different varieties, some being more safe than others.

Yeah, that's true, I don't always think of that. Their stuff that's specifically made for cars *oughta* be OK, huh?

For me, it's just an alternative to something that's already working fine.

I got the chrome package. The Savana has huge chrome bumpers front and back so I want them protected and sparkling. Plus I am adding the chrome wheels so I want to figure the best products to protect all that chrome.
