Christmas Detail: 00 Mustang *DUW*

Since the weather was beautiful today, i decided to polish the car up (sorry no interior shots). heres the lowdown:



ssr2.5 on lc yellow pad

ccw on lc black pad

ex-p by hand (waited about 30 mins to cake on)

nattys blue by hand

mothers fx on tires

mother b2b on trim/chin spoiler/grill delete/mirrors

ig on glass

wheel wells cleaned with megs hotshine

mothers chrome polish on the rims

BTW, is it me or is nattys blue kinda hard to take off? WHat i did was use a yellow applicator pad from Pakshak, sprayed it down a little with qd, and tried applying it in thin layers. Any suggestions what i should do next time? :xyxthumbs
 
Very wet and glossy looking. Looks really good for that color.

Natty's Blue is a little harder to buff off than Natty's OG. Shouldn't be difficult though.
 
Great work...Looks great! I think you would give hirosh's mustang a run for it's money...literally. :D



How did you like the Mother's FX Tire Shine?

Ranney, I love the look of FX on my tires, better then the turtle wax tire shine i was use to using. I think i need a those german applicators that you sell on your site. I used an old Coscto microfiber cloth to apply it to the tires. Thumbs up to the yellow microfiber cloth that you gave me. Works great.



as far as mods, nothing really much done. Just an intake, exshaust.......ya know? haha
 
nice work.. good choice of product.. thinner layer of natty's blue, or less curing time, and you'll be fine.. i never leave natty's blue on for longer than 30 seconds..
 
Ha! The front headlight shot looks so ominous lol. Very mean looking. May I suggest that you think about color matching the front chin spoiler? I think that would look really nice :D

Very nice car! I gotta ask, what is the deal with the lisence plate? Im sure that could be quite confusing to read for CERTAIN people ;)

looks like it's intentionally confusing. like if i police officer were to write it wrong on a speeding ticket then it would be invalidated in court.
 
That mustang looks beautiful. Great detail.



Mustangs usually don't turn my crank but that one is done up just beautifully. I got some Mothers b2b for christmas, can't wait to try it on my baby once summer rolls around.

Neothin: I would color match the chin spoiler, but its all damaged, because of the height of the car, i give the chin spoiler a beating when it comes to driveways etc.



volvoguy: You know my intentions, it was actually to throw people off I wanted MWMWMW first off but figuired it was to easy to remember to i mixed the letters, just a little



DARKSTI: I couldnt wait 24 hours for Ex-p to cure, i have no garage, and by the time i was almost finish. The clouds began to roll in. So i didnt want to take any chances. I just let it sit for 30 mins.

its for the sleeper look :spot , but yeah the exshaust pipes are also hidden, i wanted to keep this car really clean...
 
Nice Mustang. I like the plate, I had the same idea, just never got around to it. I was thinking more along the lines of hard to read though, like II18B5S or something.
