Choosing Porter Cable kit (Wolfgang, Optimum)???? And other questions lol

Sorry if some of this has come up, I've searched a ton and still haven't really fond what I was looking for. I'm about to order one of the Porter Cable kits, but not sure which one is best overall. I've heard a lot of good stuff about Optimum, but what about DP etc? I read good stuff on Wolfgang but heard that it attracts way too much dust/dirt too quickly. Our house is across the beach and I normally take A1A along the beach to work so I get a coating of salt and whatever else pretty quickly after a couple days, so I guess I'm mainly looking for something that'll allow the stuff to be wiped of quickly and not really stick to it. And obviously being in South Florida, it's nice and hot here from which I heard carnaba's will deteriorate quickly.

I know some of the kits have a paste wax instead of a sealent or lsp (is lsp liquid sealent protectent lol?). I'm just confused between trying to pick from the Pinnacle, Poorboys, DP etc :nixweiss

Right now, all I own is NXT, Black Magic liquid wax, Meguires detail spray/xlay and some other stuff. Our trucks are white also.

Thanks a lot guys, this sh!t is addicting :xyxthumbs

First, be careful wiping your finish if it has any sand and/or salt on it. That will cause marring quickly.

Being that you seem to need durability in your enivronment, *I* would recommend a good sealant. There are several great ones out there. Try a few and see what fits your needs best...*my* favorite is Zaino Z2 Pro.

P.S. LSP = last step product

Yeh, I usually just spray it down every couple of days, gets the coating of salt/dust off easily.

Bumpity bump, anybody else? Leaning towards the Optimum Porter Cable kit, but want to hear from you others, thanks :buffing: :xyxthumbs

You can always run down to Lowes and pick up a PC7336 for $109.00 or less using the 20% discount code if it still works. If not it is stilla great deal. Then you can pick and choose your pads and other produsts...
