Choices for removing swirls

I have to park at the train station under trees daily and some birds condemned my IS300 so, during the winter months I bring my car to the carwash to get the bird droppings off and get my car cleaned.

Now that spring is here I'll be able to begin washing my car by hand as well as start some routine detailing.

These are the products own:

3M Perfect it II Fine Cut

3M SMR

Vanilla Moose Wax Hand Glaze

S100

Quickshine

After I wash and clay the car I plan on trying to get some of the swirls out with my pc.

I was thinking Perfect it II Fine Cut with a yellow pad

SMR with a yellow Pad

VM with a white pad.

My question is will that be enough to remove any hazing or should I jump to a white pad after using the Perfect it II Fine Cut? After searching it seems that some people say that SMR with a yellow pad might leave some hazing. Is this true? I've only detailed my car a few times and am still fairly new at this so if I should be using different products or a different process please let me know.

Thanks!

Those questions are impossible for us to answer. No one here has a crystal ball.

Don't worry about what others say. You have a decent starter kit and some good tools. Go out and start working on your car. Try a few different pads, speeds, and techniques until you find a combo that works for you. Take your time and learn as you go. If you feel you need to make a change, make one. You'll get the hang of it as you get more experience.

You might want to start with the SMR / yellow pad @ 5 first ( 1 panel) and see if that removes your imperfections followed by VM (white pad) @ 5. If not go to the LC (4-5 opm) and progress downward. :wavey
