Chip repair...in three simple weeks!

nice work !

I have a dual action brush and mini airbrush compressor, tried it once, but didn't have your patience to spread it over 3 weeks ! ...LoL more like one day was long enough.

You gave me an idea on how to speed it up, I will use a toothpick to level out the paint since this is faster and then sand and use the airbrush to give it the finishing touch with the metallic look.

very nice! I love to see the care some give there cars! an auto body shop would have painted the entire side of the car, making the color look off, and charging you $$$. lol

A lil' TLC, and it looks great!

anyone know if you can use laquer thinner to thin out clear coat paints for airbrush use?

Depends on the clear. I tried thinning clear from Paintscratch.com with lacquer thinner and it didn't seem to mix well (visibly bad enough that I didn't use it).

Get the clear from a local autobody/paint supply place and ask them what to use.
