I was in Ottawa, IL, by the GF's family. Where in Schaumburg were you? I was in Oak Park on sat morning. Don't you live near Brookfield? We keep passing each other.



I'm 99.9% done with the poster for Sunday. I want to cover up some red that blead thru a testing paper on top of the posterboard and I'm gonna try and get a big pic of the porcshe for the poster too!

6 days to go!
 
I'm moving to Arlington Heights at the end of next week. . .still an apartment and no washing of cars allowed, but I will have direct window acces to my car and 2 cheap coin-op's within blocks, closer than now...

Nope. I am actually further south. I live around Blue Island.

I work around Brookfield (Melrose Park/Stone Park/Northlake).



I was on I-290 passing Woodfield and then on 90. :D
 
I my car was in the shop a few weeks ago in Lynwood, past Blue Island. That's a good 50 mi or so to D & B huh? Hope it doesn't dust on you too much on the ride up here.

Are you talking about the Subie Dealer on Glenwood-Dyer Rd?



If you are out there ever again, let me know and we can hook up. I roll through there on my "border runs" for gas.
 
Yah that was the dealer that I went thru. Good guys, but I won't have to go back hopefully anytime soon. . .
 
Here's a poster to look out for on Sunday that I did.



I'm gonna print up a pic of the purple porsche to size to fit in the poster.

doh.... I'll be up in michigan (which according to map quest is only like a 3.5 hour drive) from the 23rd to 28th.... if only we scheduled the trip for a few days sooner....



Maybe you guys will have such a blast it will be a 72 hour event.... If it is let me know and i'll join you

people are going to think that there's really a car show at D & B on sunday. . .duh! forgot to call Pat for the zaino. . .will call tomorrow.

I'm from north side of Chicago (near the brown line CTA starting point)



I live in an apartment too :p I go to a local car wash and I spend 3 dollars cleaning my car every week or two. I have Nu Finish on my car and Mother's Carba(whatever) Wax on top of that :D I'm like the only one on my block/neighborhood that does self waxing. I guess everyone else goes to one of those "hot wax" car washes.

I might be able to come to this meet :bounce can someone show me what to cover up inside the engine bay at the meet b/c I want to clean it. It's D I R T Y!!!



I'm looking up the directions to the place and I was wondering where irving park hits bloomingdale road? is it past wood dale road?

Irving hit's Bloomingdale Rd, which is called Roselle Rd a little more up north. There's a light with a Amoco and a Shell at them. That's Roselle. If you turn south (left I'm assuming) it'l turn into Bloomingdale Rd.

On a side note, I saw this morning on the Weather channel that there's a chance for isolated t-storms on Sunday in Schaumburg, which is very close to Addison. . .
 
Thanks! Just wanted to know when to expect it since I only took Irving like 2 times. Yea I have to turn left onto it.

What time are the storms coming? I hope they don't come at the time of the meet (after I put in all that hard work cleaning the Max). :D
