Chewing gum on suede

Yeah, that may work, but a quality, "solvent based" fabric protector, sprayed on and allowed to dwell for a few minutes will break the resin of the gum and cause it to powder.

Vac it away when it is dry.

Several years ago I tried a piece of ice, hardened it enough to where it rubbed off with a terrycloth towel. I wonder if different types of gum react differently?
