First off, I am not a pro detailer, just finally had the chance to work on the truck. And boy did it need it!
02 Suburban with 202k, and it`s the family mobile.

As you can see, it`s quite filthy. Needs some love here.

Started with a 2 bucket wash with Dawn to really get everything off. I have 2 5 gallon bucket from Pep Boys, and the grit guards didn`t fit all the way to the bottom. They didn`t feel any different, but they did a great job even still.
Followed by a clay job, and wow that made a difference.

This was just the tailgate

Then we did another wash with BF shampoo, which may not have been needed, but to get any lube off the truck

I didn`t do very much on the interior, I have some Armor All cleaner wipes I`m trying to use up, and did a wipe down on the inside, no pictures there. I have Griots interior cleaner, but I didn`t get a chance to use it in the interest of time.
I have the BF fire over ice, got it sealed but had to wait a day to wax it.
With it sealed I hit the trim and tires with shine, some cheap stuff to use up, dang sling everywhere!

I have found that clay is not a huge deal like I thought it would be. And I probably didn`t need the second wash. I do need more and better stuff, and want to really get inside to clean it up well.
What do you think? What can I do better next time?
