Chevy Impala SS, 99 BMW, 07 BMW,

SL, I went from being disappointed to being a little miffed cause I really wanted to try out the QD. I sent them another e-mail.

It suckes because my post helped out some of their orders and that's the thanks I get.

Oh well, I guess we'll see what happens, thanks for keeping us posted.

If it makes you feel any better, my kit did come with the Crystal Mist QD and in my opinion, it is equally as good (but not better than) the Clear Pearl...just more expensive. There could very well be differences in formulations, but I will actually stick with the Clear Pearl. :)

They finally e-mailed me back with some bull of their kits being "special". Well if you guys all the the QD (mike didn't) and I didn't then I want mine.

They said I can return it, and I just shot e-mail back saying why don't I send you this kit back and you send me another kit with the QD in it. (or the dumbutts can just send me the missing products and save me shipping) If they agree to the swap, I'm not going to do it (I just want some sort of semblance of service)

After giving them 1 more e-mail, i'm going write down my exerience on e-bay.

FYI, if you want great service, just go to Tacs or the sponsors of this site. These guys are worms.

My Soveran kit did not come with Crystal Mist or the vinyl/leather cleaner or the towel. It only came with the wax, PCL, PBS, one foam applicator and one terry applicator. When I called to complain they said they were all that way and that they were going to change their product descriptions. Like Steve, my choices were to keep it or send it back for the refund. Since the whole kit was less than the cost of Soveran itself, I'll probably keep it.

they are out of kits (just getting rid of inventory), oh well worth the shot

too bad i'm just going to post my experience (nicely) on e-bay, with link to my site ;) i'm sure since it'll be the only negative post every car entheusiast looking to buy from these guys will see the link.

Steve,

I guess I got lucky, I got the Crystal Mist but not the towel. You should report them to e-Bay. Since it was in their description and you paid for it, and did not get it that my be considered fraud. Did you pay by credit card? If you did, dispute the charge with your credit card company.

I guess we all get spoiled dealing with TACS and CMA. You get to speak to the owner at these companies, and they know you by name, and don't have to deal with all the run around crap.

Anyway, let us know how everything works out.

Here are some cars I did a while back, sometime around the middle of last year. Figured I would post some old work up since I have a little spare time and I have been meaning to do this for quite a while but just never got around to it. First up is an 06 Impala SS. One step correction only.

-Washed with NXT Generation Car Wash.
-Clay with Meguiars clay and Last Touch at 1:1.
-G110/M205/W8207 combo was used for a one step on the paint.
-Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax as LSP.
-Meguiars Hot Shine spray on the tires and wheelwells.

Older daily driven BMW, not bad for ten years. Only a basic wash and wax on this one:

-Wash with Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo
-Clay with Meguiars clay and LT 1:1
-two thin coats of M21 Synthetic Sealant
-Gold Class Endurance High Gloss on the tires
-Quik Interior detailer wipedown and vac on the interior

Heres a newer BMW, think its an 07. All I did was wash it with Gold Class Shampoo, clayed it, waxed with Gold Class Liquid Wax v1, and dress the tires with Meguiars Gold Class Endurance High Gloss.
