Chemincal Guys vs. Poor Boy's World

I'm confused between the 2 companies - both have very similar branding (old world style labeling/marketing), both have very similar sounding products..... and both come highly recommended.

What are the differences betw. the 2? What seperates the 2? Does one (or both) use the same level of ingredients (non-acidic, pH safe/neutral, etc)?

I tried calling CG's customer service 310 hotline and got voice mail (yup, the same # that said "24 hr customer support")

CG's has more of a variety of products, so that might be your best bet of you decide to purchase a bunch of products (the citrus wash & gloss isn't bad and it's very economical). call and ask for paul if you have any questions...

Customer service is awesome with POORBOYS WORLD, fast fast shipping. Sure CG's has more poduct line up and probably 10x bigger warehouse and maunfacturing facilities, but can you talk to the owner ewhen you call on the phone ay CG'Ss . Steve answers the phone and helps with questions I have on his products. His products work for me. I really dont need to go out and try all the other companies products mateerials as I dont undestand when to use them or why. No I am NOT perfect, nor do I post much here, but I do read over here. Auctually this was the the first detailing forum I registered on whn I started cleaning cars. RANDAL

You do not think having a voice mail response 24 hrs per day not 24 hr support?

see your CS experience with PB's would be the opposite of mine, (not trying to stick up for CG's) but paul is very informative as well and usually throws in freebies to try out. just because he doesn't answer the phone this time doesn't mean you can't actually talk to him (everyone's human, leave a message if they don't pick up and they'll get back to you)...

I use products from both, Liquid Extreme Shine and Grime Reaper from CG, and BH, WD glazes, Bug Squash and Spray and Rinse from PB. They are just good products, everyone has their favourites

Does CG's liquid extreme give a high gloss wet look on tires?

Thanks for all the feedback.

Can someone elaoborate on whether they use non-acidic, pH safe/neutral ingredients? I have tried looking all over the 2 websites but can't seem to find any info. on what ingredients are used.....
