Greatings to all of you ChemicalGuys junkies out there! :hifive:

I was browsing trough the web, looking for CG stuff when I find this:

"5050 was released in limited quantity for our clients, friends, professionals, and the car loving public that has for years been asking us to offer a shop stopping premium end paste wax. 5050 is a limited production hand poured paste wax. The Chemical Guys Paste Wax mixture and emulsification process requires 18 hrs of blending at a precise temperature while the complete process of production takes 8 days from start to finish. To ensure no separation and proper emulsification the final wax emulsion is poured at a precise temperature into the heat resistant tins. The poured emulsion is then cooled at ideal room temperature to limit precipitation in a closed environment that is airless to ensure no contamination or airborne materials come in contact with the paste. After 24 hrs of cooling each product is tested, against any kind of separation or imperfection. The approved tins are placed into a cold chamber binding cooler to harden the emulsion and prepare the product to be sealed and packaged for car enthusiast, professionals and auto lovers everywhere to enjoy."

Yeah. I can see that everyone will want some of this stuff.
 
I've seen this stuff over on Detailing World. I think that it was the answer to the needs of that particular forum and was largely a U.K. release (don't hold me that because I don't have all of the facts). A few of the members there have been making the comparison between it and Souveran and I believe Natty's Blue. They seem to speak favorably about the product.

I have a nearly full container of Souveran though and yet I feel strangely compelled to try this wax should it become available. :LOLOL
 
My biggest problem would be that the product is so special I would reserve it's use and without a label I would forget what the heck I had. :nixweiss



Nah, that wouldn't happen I top everything with Souveran.
 
i just dont have an extra 59 dollars for a wax ive yet to see reviewed, not high on spending that much on wax to begin with.
 
To much cassh for me to spend on another product like was.....ahppy with my Natty & PW and my 1000P for now.
 
Here is my car after using the Connoisseur 50/50 wax over Blackfire wet diamond, normally I don't use carnauba wax but after trying one panel I was blown away by how wet it looked and the pearlescent was really glowing in the sun, felt pretty slick too for a wax.

Overall it's a great wax that has impressed me, goes on/off like butter, no problem in direct sun, wet glowing finish, nice rich colour, quite slick. It rained the day after I applied the 50/50 and the beads were incredibly small and tight, never seen them like that on my car before!



50/50 is £25 compared to £40 for Souveran in the UK - a bargain I think! :2thumbs:
