Chemical Guys & Z Revisited vs. MiniVan

2 Weeks of rain in the NE, made for a very unhappy mini-van!

mgm2003 and I cleaned up my wife's van today.

Process Used:

Wash: Chemical Guys Extreme Body Wash
Tires, Wells, Rims: Chemical Guys Premium Blue APC

Rinse:

Trim: Baby Wipe PreTreat & Magic Eraser to clean. Poorboys Trim Restore to dress.
Wells: Dressed with Poorboys NL
Paint: Z2 Pro / Z8 Wipe down
Tires: Dressed with Turbo Wax Tire Gel

And who said minivans arent cool? Looks great. I see some nice flake on that paint! Great job guys.

Not alone they don't. I've found that if you clean out your trim with a wet one, then magic eraser (light swipes), and a final wipe off with another wet one -it will clean out your trim very well.

Greg, I saw your package in John's garage today (3 weeks) old. Do you mind if I take it? I'd like to try out a few Optimum products too (LOL).

Will it leave a shine or just clean them really well?
 
Sean I am still up in the air with Z. But I think I am moving to that side. We put the Z on about 4 weeks ago. The van has been through a lot of rain in the past few weeks and has held up very good. Z was still beading let crazy when we applied another coat.
I like paint as slick as just sealed. It did lose some of that this week. FMJ is of the those sealers that I used 1st and still like it. To me FMJ & Z are on top of my list. I still have to put Z on the MDX. I just have too many coats of FMJ on right now to take off (4). I am slowly becoming a Z man. Dan the CG W&R C is very good> I only used once so far I update.
 
Since Chemical Guys Extreme Body Wash has wax in it it might not be a good idea to go right to adding a layer of Z2 or Z5
would a Z6 or Z8 wipedown remove the wax ?
