I think I remember reading that information and that the higher polymide count also contributes to the soft feeling of the towel, but.......Charles i remember reading some place that higher the polyamide count the more absorbent the towel is supposed to be.
Can the end user really tell the difference between a towel with 70/30, 75/25, 80/20 polyester/polymide count when using it?
I think the different nap would be much more of a factor to me. Even then, the only real preference I have is for a shorter nap for glass cleaning. In fact, I use a short nap waffle weave for glass. About the only place I ever use my waffle weave towels anymore.
