chemical guys microfiber

Charles i remember reading some place that higher the polyamide count the more absorbent the towel is supposed to be.
I think I remember reading that information and that the higher polymide count also contributes to the soft feeling of the towel, but.......
Can the end user really tell the difference between a towel with 70/30, 75/25, 80/20 polyester/polymide count when using it?
I think the different nap would be much more of a factor to me. Even then, the only real preference I have is for a shorter nap for glass cleaning. In fact, I use a short nap waffle weave for glass. About the only place I ever use my waffle weave towels anymore.

Charles

ps. I think we have hi-jacked the thread, but since it was your thread to start with, maybe that's OK. :D

I have took advantage of too many sales and have waaaay more towels than I need.
I"ll bet I'm not the only one here guilty of that :rofl

You certainly have that one right, BlackBart:rockon:rofl
You two are perpetuating a myth that was originally started by my wife.

We need a hundred or so towels.
Same way with having 5 or 6 different swirl removers.
Or a half dozen different cleaner/polishes.
Four AIO's at a minimum.
The eight different LSP's are necessary in order to be sure you have the right one for the right job. Of course that includes a carnauba paste.
QD's not only need to be in a variety, buying gallons is the only practical way to purchase them.
And this always works.
Hey, it was on sale!
:D

:lol2: I use to rag on women for the "it was on sale" excuse. Now I catch myself using it to justify another purchase! :D

Be careful or your garage will look like mine.
The bottles are four deep on the shelves and the metal cabinet on the right it full of polish plus another cabinet on the other wall is full of towels.

WOW. I thought my garage was bad and I have maybe half as much as you. that's rediculous. Do you give items away that you don't use or do you just collect them all?

Well I use them but after trying a product a few times I try something else.
You should see what I take with me to a show and it is separate from what is on the selves so what you see in the photo is not near all of it.:rofl

Your collection makes Calgary's $2,000 wax look like a bargain.

Thanks for posting the picture. I can show it to my wife to convince her that I'm only a little crazy.

Charles

Your welcome Charles glad I could help.
Now get that card out and place a new order you know you are just itching to try something new.:yay
